The challenge
Cutting plywood on the slab itself was costing hours per pour and producing offcuts nobody could reuse. The team had no reliable way to know how many full sheets to start with, so miscuts were absorbed as waste.
The approach
The slab was run through the PlyMax plywood optimiser, which produced a sheet-by-sheet cutting plan before any material was touched. Cutting moved off the slab and into the wood workshop.
The result
Twelve sheets saved on a single 600 m² pour, roughly four hours of labour recovered, and a cutting plan the workshop could follow without interpretation.

With PlyMax, we were able to cut sheets directly in the wood workshop instead of on the slab, saving valuable time and improving workflow. It also made it easy to know how many full sheets to start with and reduced miscuts on site. The system helped our workers plan better and progress faster.
